Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras festivities are held in several places around the world.
February 10, 2018 kicks off the week long parades and parties in New Orleans, Louisana.
Its a week of celebration so in honor of this party season  let's create a tag with a Masque'd theme.

Somewhere on your creation there must be a costume mask...either on the tube you choose to use OR as an added element to enhance the tag.

Include the colors of this season...as they do have a specific meaning behind them.

Mardi Gras & Carnival Colors
Purple – symbolizes Justice.
Gold – symbolizes Power.
Green – symbolizes Faith.

Activity - Electric Duchess

  Owners Challenge -(Lori) - Year of the Dog

 

 Since Chinese New Year 2018 is celebrates February 16, 2018
The celebration begins 1-2 weeks in advance with Chinese New Year's Eve
being January 28, 2018.
2018 is Year of the Dog in their Zodiac calendar.

To celebrate this event,  create a tag with a dog being the main focus of the tag. 

You can use other elements/items of course in the tag but make sure to have a Dog being the main character in this tag.

The tag doesn't have to be oriental, but it must be a Dog themed tag.

Choose a font starting with the letter "D"  for dog for your name on the tag,
and also for any word art created for this tag.

Make sure to tell us which Font you used.

  Your Favorites Challenge

 Make a tag using your one of your favorite artists
Use your favorite font (and tell us what you used)
Use your favorite color

If you complete a Challenge or an Activity, you would be awarded 1 HEART,

when you have a total of 10 hearts,

you can cash in for a free gift from CDO or Pics for Design.

If you want to save your hearts - 50 will get you a 1 month Free Membership in the Diamond Club of CDO.

You would automatically receive 2 free tubes from them.  Great club!

Please note it you complete more then one entry for the Challenge, it will only count as 1 heart.

If you complete more then one Activity for the activity, it will only count as 1 heart.

You will also receive 2 hearts on your birthday!

Example:

Each week I will have at least 3 new Activities and/or Challenges.

So for that week if you do both of these, you would get 3 hearts. Now if you enter the challenge and WIN, you would be given 2 additional hearts

So that would be 5. One heart for Challenge or Activity and 2 if you are a winner!

All Winners will be announced on Sunday at noon (central time)

Note:If you leave the PSPX3 Group without cashing in your hearts, you lose all your hearts.

3 WAY CHALLENGE
1)  You must use a mask from this page HERE
    Any mask, just tell us which one you used

2)  Use at least 1 filter - if you don't have any filters, you may use an effect such as texture, inner bevel, weave, etc
      but drop shadow does not count

3)  Use one Blend Mode - luminance, hard light, soft light, any blend mode
