Prior to the 1920s, orange juice was a
bit of a luxury because it
required
having access to fresh oranges, which could be
difficult to
find during that time – unless a person lived in Florida
where orange
trees grow prolifically.
But fortunately, as flash-pasteurization and
the canning process became
more possible, orange juice started becoming
readily available to people
all throughout the United States.

Typically celebrated on the last Friday
in April in the United
States, National Arbor Day has origins that date back to the late 19th
century.
The day got its start in the American state of Nebraska when a
journalist named Julius Sterling Morton proposed that his fellow
Nebraskans
would plant trees to show appreciation for nature and the
environment.
The first Arbor Day was celebrated in 1872 and the idea
grew from there.
